Howard Red Liners Close Down for the Season After 10-2 Loss to High Rollers.

Howard Red Liners playoff run came to a halt after a tough loss to the High Rollers, who beat their sister team 95th Red Liners. The Liners initially had eight players on the bench. Two players were late to the game because of transportation problems. The Rollers took advantage by jumping quickly on the scoreboard with three goals in the first period. These opponents continued their juggernaut scoring with four more unanswered goals in the second period. The Liners would get their first goal early in the third period from Toe’s cross slow backhand wrister past the Rollers’ goalie. The Rollers returned fire and scored 2 more goals before the Andy popped in the second and final Liners goal off a breakaway (see photo). The Liners would pop in one last goal with second left to play. The season is now over for both McFet Red Liners team. The next season will restart in October 2014.
