Red Liners in Toronto Tied for First Place After Round 1 in the Eastern Canada Cup Tournament

Members of the CGHA took their skills and passports to the largest city in Canada for their Eastern Canada Cup yesterday. Members took advantage of free alcoholic drinks on their turbo-propped flight to Toronto’s city airport. Others wondered why

buying alcohol was limited to government owned stores only. But the novelty wore by the start of the Red Liners first game against Montreal.

The first period action began quickly for the game’s eventual top scorer, B-hole. and 2 more points for winning the game.

With Ottawa earning 7 points to Toronto’s 1 point, the Red Liners were tied for first place after the first round (7 points). They await their second game against the seemingly tougher Ottawa team.
