The goal scoring got off quickly on Stock’s first defensive shift. After collecting a slow backpass from Totom she fired a rolling shot through traffic and through

the Bullfrogs goalie’s five hole. NotĀ letting off the pressure, the Redliners took advantage of their first powerplay. Mr. Head wrangled a lose puck near the blue line and fired a slapshot. Standing by the Frog’s open net, Doc easily deflect Mr. Head’s shot into the upper corner. But the Frogs would tie it up just as the first period was ending.

The second period displayed more scoring and penalties from both benches. It would be the Frogs who would strike first before 2 minutes ticked off. But during one powerplay, Mr. Head would now score as he took a pass from Toto, skated through the Frog’s D-line, and fired a floating pass into the Frog’s mail order viagra in uk net. but like the previous period, the Frogs would score in the closing minutes to tie the game, 3-3.

Sensing an urgency to win for their fans and to celebrate their new uniforms, the Redliners came out strong. After the puck pingponged between his wingmates, Ty-man Tyler took a breakaway pass and fired a bouncing shot from the point that found its way just past the Frog’s netminder. The Bullfrogs would try the rest of the period to score the tying goal. After drawing a penalty with 2 1/2 minutes left to play, the Frogs pulled their goalie to go 6-4 but were unable to convert. Donny O corralled a loose puck and fired the eventual game winner goal in an empty net. The last hurrah for the Frogs would be a goal from a bouncing puck just inside the Redliners’ goal post.

The CGHA Redliners do thank their fans for coming out on a late weeknight to watch the team inaugurate their new uniforms with a win and bring the team back to 500. These new jerseys have already spurred some jealousy from other teams. Next game is Tuesday, June 26 at 7:10pm, Johnny’s Icehouse West.
