The CHGA is happy to announce after the good feedback and turnout from our first PUCK-er Up earlier this year, it is back! Mark your calendar for September 18th starting at 3:30pm. This round we are happy to have Halsted’s and Hydrate as our main sponsors. And yes, we have a big yellow school bus again!
Here is the plan:
WHAT: PUCK-er Up is a fundraising event for the Chicago Gay Hockey Association (CGHA) as well as a way for our fans to come hang out with the team and watch us play. We will meet at Halsted’s to eat, drink and hang out. All the fans will then board a big yellow school bus to our game downtown. The bus is BYOB and there is a bar a…t the ice rink! After the game, fans are dropped off at Hydrate for a continued night of debauchery!
WHEN: Saturday, September 18th
3:30pm – 5:30pm – Meet at Halsted’s to eat, drink and meet the team.
5:45pm – The big yellow school bus departs to head to Johnny’s Ice House downtown.
6:30pm – 8:00pm – Cheer on the Chicago Gay Hockey Association as they face off, CGHA vs. CGHA.
8:30pm – 9:30pm – Spend more time with the team at Hydrate!
COST: PUCK-er Up is a fundraising event for the Chicago Gay Hockey Association, your payment will secure you a seat on the bus. Send a $10 payment to via PayPal.
FOR THE TEAM: We are taking anywhere from 20-30 players. Also, many of us are planning on participating in the Blackhawks’ training camp the morning of PUCK-er Up. There is a 10K Roller Race at 8am. We would love to see as many of you there as possible!
