With the top seed for the Rec B division playoffs in site, the Red Liners took on their final game against the Toronto Wolfpack. Though though the Wolfpark had only earned two points in their previous two games, the Red Liners did not take them ligh
tly. Before the game, Montreal had leaped into first place with 14 total points. Therefore, the Red Liners sildenafil needed to at least earn 2 points to take the top seed.
The first period started out slow for both teams as neither could establish control of the puck in their offensive zones. But Toto would crack the ice by finding the backdoor open on the Wolfpack’s net after receiving a pass from B-hole. He struck again with a lose puck in front of the Wolfpack net. With the 2-0 lead, the Red Liners earned the necessary 2 points. The second period continued the scoring action for the Red Liners. Mixy would notch back-to-back goals: one from the slot and the other on a break away from Davy. The Wolfpack would get on the scoreboard off
a bouncing puck by the far post. The third period further iced the top spot with a single goal by Don Juan. Finding the Wolpack netminder by the far post, Don popped a pass just inside the near post.
All in all, the Red Liners earned 7 more points for a total of 30 points. They wil be facing the Wolfpack again for the semi-final rounds tomorrow. Ottawa will be having a rematch against Montreal who won in a one-goal game off a goalie-let in goal.
