The developmental Red Liners at American Heartland brought out version 3.0 of their team for their first matchup of the summer. Jokerit had been a tough opponent in the previous season. This time around, a more confident Liners matched up well against Jokerit. Scruffy play by the line of PJ-Evan-Davey resulted in a hat trick for PJ. Big Daddy would notch a goal as well. On the defensive side, a group of 5 built a solid wall in front of Rocket who also stopped all shots on goal. This was his second shutout as goalie for the Heartland Red Liners. The guys and gal in red await their next matchup against last season’s champions, Chiberia Yetis.
