After a tough 5-3 loss, the McFet 95th Red Liners hope to come back with a stronger performance against the High Rollers even with the a shorter bench. The game remained close but they would fall in the overtime shootout for the second time in four games. Goals from Jesse, Twank, and Mix matched the three goals from the High Rollers. But tempers flared in the third period as two Red Liners and one Roller were kicked out the game. The now eight man bench was shorted again with two more penalties in the closing minutes. Neither team could score. For the shootout, The Liners could not score on their three changes. The Rollers scored on their first attempt and did not need the third one. The 95ths look at the positives for this game: they have not been blown out of any game and had two ties but they have lost in the shootout. With the defense remaining fairly solid, they hope to get their offensive scoring machines going in the upcoming games. Their next matchup against the Northside Riffs is on Tuesday, April 29 at 10:50pm (could be moved to 9:50pm).
