Red Liners continued their winning ways with another 3-1 win against the Pirates who are the Immortals C2 farm team. After a back-and-forth first period with few stoppages, Toto blasted a one timer off Dr. Watson’s cross-slot pass. Twank would grab the only goal in the second period from a blistering wrist shot just inside the far post of the Pirate’s net. The Pirates did pull within a goal about half way into the third period. But Baby would put the icing on the win with the team’s second consecutive game with an empty-net goal. The Liners have won their last 3 games as well as 5 wins out of their last 6 games. At 11-4, they are tied for second place with District 5 who they will be playing next Tuesday at 8:30pm.
