With the Blackhawks coming off a 3-1 win over the Bruins in Game 5 just minutes earlier, the Red Liners hoped to carry that excited with their shortened bench. Pauley would score first early in the first period off a pass from Don Juan. DVDA would tie it up before the end of the period. The Liners continued their scoring into the second period by Twank from The Druck. The DVDA did respond in kind, but the Liners would take the lead for the second period from a corner wristshot off a tumbling Sister Stock. Neither time scored on their power play attempts in the period. The third period would go back and forth. But only the DVDA would score. With the tie, a shootout ensued. Bigfield turned away all 3 attempts. Pauley would score the only goal, a wrister just inside the far post, to notch the win for the Liners.
The Liners will meet up with an old rival, Uncle Puck, who has a similar record, on Fri. June 28 at 8:20pm JIH West.
