End of Summer 2011 Season

The CGHA ended the summer 2011 season with 11 win, 10 losses, no ties, and no OT losses (80 goals for, 86 goals against). This placed them into 4th place. Their first playoff game was against an old rival, The Centurions. They beat them 6-3 to move into the 2nd round of the playoffs. They met the Rats who proved to be a tough competitor. The CGHA lost 7-1, ending the season.

Still, it was a great first season at their new home, Johnny’s Ice House, which is the premier adult rec hockey league in Chicago.

The CGHA anxiously awaits the start of their second season at Johnnys.Rich Text AreaToolbarBold (Ctrl + B)Italic (Ctrl + I)Strikethrough (Alt + Shift + D)Unordered list (Alt + Shift + U)Ordered list (Alt + Shift + O)Blockquote (Alt + Shift + Q)Align Left (Alt + Shift + L)Align Center (Alt + Shift + C)Align Right (Alt + Shift + R)Insert/edit link (Alt + Shift + A)Unlink (Alt + Shift + S)Insert More Tag (Alt + Shift + T)Toggle spellchecker (Alt + Shift + N)▼
