On December 29th, ten members of the Chicago Gay Hockey Association volunteered their time at the. The CGHA had the chance to work on the flex line, creating emergency food packages used to feed one person for three to four days in the event of fire, flood, and other disasters. Over the course of the three hour time, 1,101 boxes were put together, repackaging over 27,500 lbs of food!
Not only was this an awesome team effort from everyone from CGHA who participated, but also a great team effort from all the volunteers that night to donate their time and make a world of difference to those in need.
