A Learning Experience In Vernon Hills

It was a raining trip up to Vernon Hills late Monday night in Vernon Hills where the Chicago Spin was playing the Very Tough Piazons.  Spin had an excellent first period scoring 1 goal.  Ryan Ruskin fed Chuck Jacobson on an open net for the first goal.  1 – 0 after the first.

Then the wheels completely fell off. The Piazons got underneath the skin of the Spin team, where penalties pretty much took control of the rest of the game.  Joe Novar filling in for Spin who had a short roster, scored 2 goals.  The rest of the game was pretty much killing off Major Penalties. The Game ended up 9 – 3 Piazons getting the victory.

The guys learned a lot on Monday night.  It was a much tougher and more experienced Piazons team.  Spin in its first year is learning day by day.
