The fall-winter 2014-2015 was the first time that the CGHA fielded five teams: one at Johnny’s Ice House, two at McFetridge, one at American Heartland, and one with the Chicago Outdoor Hockey League. With the growing number of players, the CGHA better organized their players in their variousteams. The Red Liners name became more well known through the Chicago hockey scene. The Heartland Red Liners would again but dominated by the more skilled teams. McFetridge Howard Red Liners would struggle while the 95th Red Liners made it to the Championship Finals. They would lose to the Barons. The Johnny’s Red Liners began the season by dominating all the teams but would fall to the eventual division champions in the semi-finals. The COHL Red Liners who had much success in the past two seasons would also struggle after being moved up to the B division.
