For the first time in CGHA history, the organization attempted to have multiple teams of different level playing at the same time. The top level competitive players would be at the Johnny’s Adult League. The recreational level players would be at the North Shore Adult League. Finally, a third team was fielded for the short Chicago Outdoor Hockey League.
