After a re-organization in the CGHA, a strong push was made to rebuild the team with strong recruiting. Many more players were brought to help grow the team and replace retiring players. As expected with new players, the Blackwolves had trouble getting skaters to play like a time and only won two games. But the hints of a strong and better team were seen.
