Join the Chicago Gay Hockey Association for the 2015 Chicago Pride Parade! As we have for 10+ years, we will be marching and everyone is welcome to march alongside us. The CGHA has had a large presence at Pride in past years and has had some very notable guests! In 2010 we hosted Brent Sopel and the Stanley Cup, and in 2012 we had Tommy Wingels march with us. We’re looking to make this year’s Pride Parade bigger than ever! We will welcome Tommy Hawk, the official Blackhawks mascot! Parade Sunday will start at 9:30am at Crew Bar + Grill where we’ll have breakfast, champagne and beer! At 11:30am we’ll head to our parade kickoff location (exact location TBA). The parade starts at noon and we’ll march with all players, fans, family and friends. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water bottles and get ready to have fun! We’ll be done with the parade around 2:30pm and will then head to Headquarters Beercade for a final hoorah. We can rest our feet, eat some pizza, play old school arcade games and pinball, and re-hydrate.
- 9:30am – Pre-party – Northwest corner of W. Lawrence Ave. and N Magnolia Ave.
- 11:30am – Meet at kickoff location – N Broadway St., south of W Sunnyside Ave.
- 12:00pm – Parade begins
- 2:30pm – Parade ends
- 3:00pm – Post-party – Headquarters Beercade – 2833 N Sheffield Ave.
