Queen Anne Identifies Character Issues In Baron After McFet 95th’s 11-0 Loss to Barons.

There is not much to say in this 11-0 loss for the McFet 95th Red Liners. The Barons used their superior speed, puck handling, and passing to give the Liners a thorough shellacking. The only two bright spots offensively were back to back post shots early in the first period and a shorthanded scoring chance in the second period. The Liner goalie, Dr. Funk, did his best to hold back the shower of pucks thrown at him.

But it was Queen Anne would provided the exclamation point for the game. Sobo and a Baron player got into a tussle in the first period. But this opponents was argumentative at the refs which resulted in an extra 10 min misconduct penalty. While in the box, this Baron’s continued to curse and threatened Sobo. Upon leaving the penalty box at a stoppage, he smacked the back of Sobo’s helmet as he skated by. At the end of the game, Sobo playful tapped this Baron’s helmet to return the gesture during the handshake. That Baron did not take it kindly and threatened to fight Sobo. But Queen Anne stepped in, blocked his attempt to headbutt her, and slowly got him to retreat after stating that he was “the biggest pussy” on the ice during that game and that he had “character issues” which quickly shut him up. That Baron’s final indignation was to threaten the refs that they would never ref there again.

The 95th Red Liners appreciate her effort to stand up to her fellow player and even provide some comedic relief by offer an interesting comeback to the boorish threats made tonight.
