The Liners continued their charge through the McFetridge rec hockey league with their meetup with the Black Sheep, after a slow start, the goals came quickly and constantly. Twank would start with the scoring with pucks into the Sheep’s upper net. He would account for most of the even nine Liners’ goals, Uncle Jessie would deflect a point shot from Liz that bounced through traffic. Mixy would knock in a loose rebound into the empty for his own goal. MK slipped a shot through the Sheep goalie’s five hole for his goal. Strong work by the D especially during two penalty kills help clamp down on the Sheep’s offense. The Liners goalie, the Music Man, back stopped a great game as evident by several key glove save and point blank slapshots. With the win, the Liners are the last undefeated team. They meet Top Shelf next Monday, Oct. 28th, at 10:50 pm
