Instructional Hockey!

Instructional Hockey!

The CGHA will be hosting an instructional hockey season! Join us for 20 weeks of rotating coached practices and refereed scrimmages. The season will be held at American Heartland Ice Arena (7384 N. Lincoln Ave.) and will be played Sunday nights from 6:10pm to 7:10pm. Each week three CGHA players will be on hand to run the practices, referee and coach the scrimmages and to work with players 1-on-1. This is intended for players who have never picked up a stick to those who have been playing > 5 years.

Players are responsible for their own hockey equipment (including a white and dark jersey), we will be provide pucks and water bottles. The practices will run through hockey basics to build a strong foundation of skating, stickhandling and positioning. We’ll talk positioning, strategy and game scenarios. In the scrimmages we’ll have coaches on the bench to set lines and help apply what we discuss in practices during gameplay.  A referee will help keep order on the ice and call penalties. Players will be provided with rules for 4-on-4 hockey.

The season starts 9/22 and runs through 3/23. The full schedule of sessions can be seen on our calendar starting with “IS”. Full-Time is suggested for all players but we’re happy to offer part-time and drop-in pricing.

Full-Time – $275 for 20 sessions ($13.75/session)

Part-Time – $175 for 10 sessions ($17.50/session)

Wonderful! It’s my first medical products, but they work great for me! Cialis online pharmacy. The difference between a brand name medication and a generic is in the name, shape and price.

Substitute – $20/session

Goalies are FREE!

All payments can be made on our payment page.

I know it’s late in the season but I would love to be part of the instructional league for the remaining of the season. I actually work at an ice rink, I’m a pretty good skater and really love hockey, I’ve just never gotten a chance to play.
