The Chicago Spin had very few skaters, since players were injured and out of town for Monday’s game in Vernon Hills. That didn’t help, as Spin played the defending champions from last session. Spin held them close in the first period, holding them to scoring only one goal. Spin could not catch their breath after that. It was all Canuks with Spin losing 7-0. If it wasn’t for Keith Halverson, “Spin’s saving grace,” it would have been a whole lot worse. Spin plays its arch-rival this coming Monday (The Storm). All the action starts at 9:40 on Glacier ice.
